OMG I AM SO SORRY I HAVEN'T RESPONDED TO HALF OF YOUR COMMENTS. It is not because I do not LOVE AND APPRECIATE them and it is not because I don't, seriously, LOVE AND APPRECIATE YOU. It has just been kind of a roller-coaster of a week, what with the breakup and starting my new job (did I mention that I have a big girl job? Because...because I have a big girl job. TODAY I WROTE A PRESS RELEASE THAT IS GOING TO BE SENT TO NEWSPAPERS BFSKDGDJSKDJSKLDLS JOY! OKAY SHUTTING UP ABOUT IT NOW). Also, augustbird and I are working on something that I AM SO THRILLED ABOUT I CANNOT EVEN SPEAK OF IT. But oh, man, is it going to be fun.

That being said, I plan to respond to all the comments this weekend because seriously, you guys, I can't even tell you how much I love you all. This whole thing would have been unbearable without you and, just. So much awesome.

OKAY SO. Let's talk about the awesomeness of EVERYONE AROUND ME, shall we?

FIRST OF ALL. speccygeekgrrl did me the ULTIMATE honor and turned my story Into The Fire into a TOTALLY AWESOME AUDIOFIC. That link takes you to the download, and, just, AHHHHHHH! I listened to it right away because I guess I am a secret egomaniac and also NO ONE HAS EVER DONE THIS FOR ME BEFORE and it is so awesome. It is SO awesome. IT IS SO AWESOME, YOU GUYS. If you read the story and liked it, you should check this out. If you read the story and hated it YOU SHOULD CHECK THIS OUT ANYWAY, because honestly it sounds so much better as she reads it than it sounded in my head as I wrote it, and, and, and. I can't get over it, the awesome. It blows me away.

Okay! Next in the list of awesome: the always brilliant purple_chalk wrote some SMOKIN' hot El/Diana. The piece is called How to Fuck The Boss's Wife and Keep Your Job: A Guide, and it is very NC-17, and it summarized thusly: [But given the chance, who wouldn't do this with their boss's wife? On her boss's desk, no less.] In case it isn't clear: El and Diana have sex ON PETER'S DESK. Just, go. Go forth and read, and keep a towel handy to clean up the grey matter that will be all over the place because it will BLOW YOUR MIND.

Next: I was having a bad day, and I posted about it, requesting comfort via fic. And I'd do a roundup of everything there, but honestly? Just go read the comments on that post. There is so much awesome that I'm afraid I would miss something, or link something wrong, and EVERY COMMENT IS GOLD. Yes, I have the best friendlist on the planet. No, I'm not ashamed to admit it.

And last, but MOST CERTAINLY NOT LEAST: hoosierbitch WROTE ME WET!NEAL FIC. Piece is titled Soaked, and is rated NC-17 with warnings for dirty, wet, messy sex and come!play. It is summarized thusly: Neal takes an unnecessary risk during a case, and Peter needs to make sure that he won't do it again. As I said to hoosierbitch in my various flailings about this story: NEAL IS COLD AND WET AND PETER IS ALL IN CHARGE AND SHIT. In all honesty, there is no way this story could possibly hit ANY of my kink buttons harder and you should all read it, because, gah. It is gorgeous and perfect and I just adore it in every way. I have read it, I believe, six times since she posted it YESTERDAY, and that's probably embarrassing to admit but I just don't care.

These have been the most inarticulate recs ever but it's because all the amazingness of everyone has melted my fucking braincells. MELTED THEM. And there's been so much awesome in the last few days that I am afraid I have missed something, which gives you an idea of the sheer scale of the awesome. GO READ EVERYTHING, YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY. And! If I *did* forget to rec someone, good god, please tell me.
