I was going to do a whole post about my wild and crazy weekend, but, uh, it seemed like a lot of work. Also I have the flu! It snuck up on me in between all the drinking, I guess, in like a. Um. A Crouching Tiger Hidden Influenza kind of way? I think they poured it into my long islands. Long Islands contain everything else, after all. THERE IS NO REASON THEY WOULD NOT CONTAIN LIQUID FLU. Augh, I don't know, ignore my rambling, I'm dizzy and watching Veronica Mars in my tie-dye PJ bottoms trying to decide if I can make it to the grocery store for more juice or if the path to the store is fraught with too many obstacles. Obstacles like: pants wearing. Obstacles like: walking. THE THOUGHTS OF A SANE PERSON, THESE ARE NOT.

In thoughts that I had and wanted to ask you guys about before I was struck down with plague: I am thinking about starting a blog about like. My crazy family etc etc. Basically, the non-fandom posts I do here, only somewhere else. I have lots of reasons for this, but when I try to pop into critical thinking and explainyness right now my brain makes sizzling noises and then dings like the microwave door, so I'll have to...explain later. SUFFICE TO SAY I'm wondering about like...good blogging clients and whether or not you guys would read it and also the title. SO HERE IS A POLL:

Oh, I'm sorry mine is the monolithic no of your only response so far (I AM ON LJ CONSTANTLY SHUT UP i read all the things so fast), but the only reason I wouldn't read your blog is because I am terrible at reading blogs, and I like having all of my reading come through LJ. I would make an effort to read all the things if you did move, though. <3

Sorry to hear that you are sick, but on the plus side you are HILARIOUS when sick, I hope you come back and re-read this and consider yourself amazing.

-I AM LITERALLY SO BAD AT THE INTERNET THAT IF YOU HAD NOT SAID THAT YOU WERE THE NO I WOULD NOT HAVE KNOWN HOW TO FIND OUT. Which probably says things about starting my own blog. Things like "don't."

-Maybe I would do a crossposting type thing? Although I wouldn't want to cross the stream of this journal and a blog. DON'T CROSS THE STREAMS was sage advice from Ghostbusters, after all. I WILL THINK ON IT.

-I am so sick that I didn't realize it had snowed until like...two seconds ago. Even though I am surrounded by windows. I WAS OUT OF MY CHAIR TO GO GET JUICE, SAW THE SNOW, AND SAT BACK DOWN. *musters energy again*

I don't think you can actually track votes in LJ polls, which is obviously a good thing. I just wanted to fess up in case that response was the first thing you saw and it crushed your will and desire to blog, you know, in your altered state.

I had much the same response this morning, actually; I was home literally doing nothing but drawing and playing WoW for two days, went to my first day of work after vacation today and it had fucking snowed, like, that's the kind of thing you think I should have picked up on.

I will teach you the ways of the LJ poll when you are feeling better, dearest, because you can both view the results-- and who said what-- and track them to a certain degree.

But! This sort of issue could best be solved by a RSS feed. Which... I do not know how to do, but have extreme confidence in my ability to figure out. People could track your blog posts through LJ, basically. I have one for the fuck yeah Inception tumblr.
