pennyplainknits made A PODFIC OF THE COFFEESHOP AU, and it is so so so so so so fucking excellent. I just. I can't possibly express my love clearly enough, but seriously, the podfic is WAY WAY WAY better than the actual fic, and everyone should be showering her with praise, because, oh my god, for serious amazingggggg.
2) The Inspiration Meme is still going strong and you guys are amazing and I am woefully behind on comments because, augh, REAL LIFE SOMETIMES HAPPENS TO ME, but dsfkjdskfjdsf so much win. A couple of random selections (but really GO READ EVERYTHING ALL THE POETRY ALL THE TIME):
A wonderful anon posted the poem Last Words, by Michael Symmons Roberts. Be warned, it is a piece about the 9/11 attacks and could definitely be triggery on that front, but just, god, so beautiful, so fucking heartwrenching. I cried, reading it, and have carried it with me all day.
earth_is_a_star posted Phillip Levine's You Can Have It, which I firmly believe everyone should read.
postcardmystery (who is, okay, one of my favorite authors ever and everyone should go read ALL OF HER FIC ESPECIALLY THE A/E FIGHT CLUB AU AND THE A/E WATCHMEN AU, THE END) wrote this gorgeous Siken inspired A/E story, which is just fucking excellent.
darchildre posted a number of poems, one of which is a Bill Holm piece that is truly exquisite.
snowdarkred wrote an adorable short A/E piece inspired by one of the gorgeous photos that's been posted.
chaoticallyclev posted some truly gorgeous original work, and illian did as well. SO AMAZING.

It's Inception/Alias crossover, and look, even if you've never watched Alias, even if you don't harbor a secret wounded unending passion for it that you never got over, even if you don't wake up in the night even now cursing J.J. Abrams, YOU SHOULD READ THIS FIC. GO GO GO.
4) I, um, signed up for Yuletide, which I had never done before, largely because despite a long time in various fandoms the name led me to believe that it was Christmas-themed, which, apparently, it does not have to be. *WAITS ON TENTERHOOKS FOR ASSIGNMENT*
