Right, so, I know I've been talking about it forever, but IT WAS NOT IDLE TALK. I just needed to get some things together, and now they're together, and I am both excited and deeply relieved to announce:

My blog, Illegible Address, is officially live.

I know the title isn't either of the options I talked about here at one point; Arrested Enthusiasm is, as it turns out, already a blog, and I reconsidered the wisdom of naming anything "Growing Up Assholes," having learned from the whole accidentally-naming-myself-after-semen thing. I got the inspiration for the title from a gorgeous Denver Butson poem called heavy things, which was first brought to my attention by gentle_thorns. But! What I said before remains true: what'll go into that blog is mostly the kind of non-fandom stories I tell here sometimes, wherein my life/family/etc is crazy. While I will probably continue to post RL stuff here on occasion, I won't be posting anything fandom-related over there.

A few quick things: first and foremost, the incredible onthecount/sandrocks drew the absolutely gorgeous header adorning the top of my blog page. She's recently put together a website for her art, CatShoes, that you guys should totally check out. It's amazing.

She also, because she is glorious and fantastic, did a link button for me. You guys know, by this point, that I by and large do not ask you to pimp things for me--not my fic, not my posts--but, uh, in this particular case, if you read the blog and find it amusing? And you feel the desire to share it with others? I would be hugely flattered, and you could use the following code:
