Ahahahaha oh my god, it's a WIP titles meme, totally ganked from sorrynotsorry et al. THIS SAYS A LOT ABOUT MY WRITING PROCESS: to wit, that it is a mess. These are actual titles of actual documents, and I actually know what (almost) all of them mean. Also, enough of them contain parentheses--in the RIDICULOUS DOC TITLES THAT ARE NOT ACTUALLY FIC TITLES--that I had to differentiate my comments by putting them in brackets. Can I just express how very, very impressed I am that you remember what most of these are? My docs actually have the titles they're supposed to have (er, well, most of the time) and I still forget what the ones I've not touched in a while are.

Your memory is clearly very good, which has to be good for some kind of health (I think), and you are not held to producing any of these. Former Girl Scout promise.

a) I only remember what most of these are because there is some kind of wire loose in my brain that allows me to remember things only when I write them in crazed half-sane code and

I cannot even explain to you the degree to which these only make sense to me because they are written in the kind of fucked up code I think in: FOR EXAMPLE, "no not THAT bill murray movie" is a Groundhog Day AU, which I know because when I read "bill murray" I think Caddyshack, but the doc title has pointedly told me that it's not THAT Bill Murray movie, so it has to be the Groundhog Day one.

...yeah, I don't really. Er. Know what to say for myself.

If it works, then it works. And we all have wires loose. Mine causes connections to be made that lead to a crossover series that spans eight fandoms. Wacky fic titles are just a sign of unique organizational system. :)

Most of my old ones are Harry Potter fics - and in one case an HP/Anita Blake crossover that was just inadvisable. It is very bad to put an assassin-trained teenager in Hogwarts, and also she might have been a Mary Sue. I never got far enough to be sure. Thank God.

I've been at this fanwriter gig for six years last month. (My fanfiction.net profile has the exact date, which is why I know.) I've accumulated a lot over that time. And some old shames too, which have been banished from the Internet (except the one the Sue-bashers got hold of. I consider that a valuable lesson now.)
