So, last night I had a dream in which Neal and Elizabeth and Peter went to a non-traditional couples group therapy session, because El and Neal felt like Peter wasn't spending enough time with them, and Peter felt like El and Neal were ganging up on him. The bickered through the whole session, and totally freaked out the other couples (probably because Peter kept saying things like "You work with me, Neal, you know how the job is," and having El respond with "Just because people are trying to kill you doesn't mean you can't make it home for dinner. Or keep Neal from making it home!").

Then, when they left, Neal and El got into this weird ornate elevator and Peter decided to take the stairs. But someone had mostly cut the elevator, uh, cord, so the elevator was slipping towards doom. Neal and El were both remarkable under pressure--El grabbed the phone to dial 911 as Neal jumped around testing all the exits, texting Peter, and generally being awesome. And then Peter pulled some crazy Spiderman shit somehow and saved them.

AND THEN I WOKE UP AND REALIZED I'M EVEN FANFICCING WHILE I'M ASLEEP.

(Admittedly, this is not the first dream I've had about Neal. A few weeks ago he walked into an unrelated dream I was having, stole a cookie and a Ritz cracker from me, grinned like he'd won the Olympic gold, and then walked back out. BUT THAT WASN'T FANFIC. IT WAS JUST WEIRD. Especially because I don't remember the last time I ate a Ritz.)

Anyway. I am in digs that are not my usual digs, because I am visiting my SO in his part of the state. Currently, he is snoring, so I can write without feeling guilty that I'm eating into our limited time, buuuut there may be a short break in your regularly scheduled porn. Back to my humble abode tomorrow night; fic should begin again shortly afterward :D
